I have been teaching film for 18 years and screenwriting for 25. I am passionate about film as an art form and love German Expressionism and the glamour of old Hollywood. I am currently working on a Ph.D., and my research is focused on the representation of terrorism in the film industry.

Despite the best attempts of film school, I am still able to enjoy mainstream films, and I love going to the cinema. It's a magical realm that can transport us anywhere in the universe when the lights go down...
